PWIPM ACE Scholarship Application

Do you have what it takes to become an Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE)? The Ohio Chapter of Professional Women in Pest Management is offering a $1000 Scholarship to one woman in pest management to improve your industry knowledge and provide you with the credentials to further your career. The sponsorship will include a prep course, application fee to apply for the test, and the testing fee.
All applicants must meet the following requirements of the Entomological Society of America to take the ACE test:
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable pest management experience
- A current pesticide applicator’s license issued in the U.S.
- The ability to pass a test on structural pest control knowledge
In addition to the ESA requirements, all applicants must meet the following PWIPM requirements:
- Must be a female resident of Ohio
- Currently employed with a company in good standing with the State of Ohio
- Complete the application
- Provide a signed letter of recommendation from your company owner, service manager, or supervisor

How will achieving the ACE certification benefit your career in pest management? - Completed applications and supporting documents should be received by October 31, 2026. No extension to the deadline will be given
The current committee of PWIPM will review all applications and choose the winner. The winning applicant and their owner or supervisor will be notified by email.
